Urumqi Dream Tour - How Does Blockchain Create Value for Traditional Businesses?
As a special guest of the “Silk Road Dream Tour”, InterValue will be in Urumqi on October 20th to participate in a panel discussion with traditional Chinese industry entrepreneurs. Dr. Barton Chao, founder and CEO of InterValue, held a talk with a panel of entrepreneurs with the theme of “Blockchain use cases”. He introduced InterValue, which aims to build a blockchain application ecosystem including financial services, health care, IP & Copyright, education, Internet of Things, sharing economy, communication, social management, charity, culture and entertainment, etc. He explained that many companies would benefit from blockchain technology, which could have a positive impact on aspects such as organization, data, architecture, governance, intelligence, value. Barton Chao also provided many examples of blockchain applications in the business world and analyzed their advantages and shortcomings. Eventually, he pointed out that blockchain enterprise applications require compliance measures, adjustments in business models, continuous research and development and implementation, feedbacks and improvements.
Professor Jiang Xinwen, Head of the Blockchain Research Institute of China’s National University of Defense Technology introduced the blockchain technology by focusing on the consensus mechanism and smart contracts. He also presented the benefits of the token economics within InterValue’s network.
The event focused on highlighting the potential to transform traditional operations with blockchain technology. Everyone finally agrees to develop applications scenarios for traditional businesses. The InterValue project's current ecosystem cooperation plan uses the characteristics of blockchain technology to optimize the value of enterprises. The combination of blockchain technology and traditional businesses has become a hot topic for entrepreneurs to discuss. InterValue plans to allow commercial applications to run as soon as possible on its blockchain, and reach a cooperation agreements with major companies.
